Whether you're creating a new garden or transforming an existing one, my role is to bring together the layout, planting and materials into a design that's beautiful, practical and tailored to the way you live.

Every project starts with an initial consultation, where we'll chat about your garden, how you want to use it and what you'd like to achieve. I'll then develop a design tailored to your space, bringing together the layout, planting, materials and any features that will help bring your vision to life.

You'll have the opportunity to review the design and share your feedback, and we'll refine it together until you're completely happy. Once everything is finalised, you'll have a clear plan to confidently move forward with creating your new garden.

Once your design is complete, you can choose how you'd like to bring it to life. Many clients work with their own landscaper, while others prefer to use one of the trusted landscapers I regularly work with. I'm happy to support whichever approach suits you best.

If you'd like a little extra help, I can also arrange plant sourcing, materials and planting as optional services, making the process as straightforward as possible.

Every garden is different, so the cost will depend on the size of your garden, the complexity of the project and the level of design support you're looking for.

After our initial consultation and site visit, I'll recommend the most suitable service and provide a clear, no-obligation quotation. That way, you'll know exactly what's included and what to expect before any design work begins.

Every project is different, but most designs are completed within 3 to 6 weeks. The timescale will depend on the size and complexity of your garden, as well as the level of detail involved.

If you're working to a particular deadline, just let me know. I'll always be upfront about what's realistic and keep you updated throughout the design process.

Not at all. Some of my favourite projects have been compact front and back gardens. Good design isn't about the size of the space, it's about making the most of it.

Absolutely. If there are plants, trees or features you'd like to keep, I'll always look for ways to incorporate them into the design where possible.

Yes. Many of my clients complete the work themselves or in stages. My plans are designed to give you a clear roadmap, whether you're managing the project yourself or working with a landscaper.

Yes. Every planting plan is carefully tailored to your garden, taking into account the soil, aspect, maintenance level and the look you're hoping to achieve.

Most garden projects don't require planning permission. However, if your project includes larger structures such as garden rooms, high boundary walls, significant changes to ground levels, or work that affects protected trees, planning permission or other approvals may be required.

If planning is likely to be a consideration, I'll let you know at the design stage so you understand what's involved before moving forward.
